Bedford House offers 4 Star graded, high quality, contemporary self catering apartments in the centre of Torquay. Located only a short walk to Torquay harbour where a large number of restaurants cafes, bars and shops can be found. The Other attractions that can be accessed quite easily are The Princess Theatre, Torquay Museum, Living Coasts as well as beaches such as Torquay's main beach and the beach at Meadfoot Bay.The apartments are set back from the road on an elevated position and enjoy all the benefits of a town centre location whilst enjoying a relatively tranquil position. There is off street parking providing one parking space per apartment. The building has beautiful; well maintained gardens for the benefit of the holiday flats. Refurbished in 2012 the apartments are fitted to a high standard with lovely ensuites, modern kitchens and contemparary designed living rooms. The apartments are managed by the multi award winning team from The Somerville which is located immediately next door. Breakfasts can be had at the Somerville for an additional charge.Apartment 1 is at the front of the building on the ground floor. Well behaved small dogs are welcome in this flat only. We can only accept small well behaved dogs of breeds that are typically 8kg or less. If you are unsure please contact us before you book as we re unable to accommodate larger dogs . If you would like to bring your dog please let us know. There is a £10 supplement per day for a dog.Apartment 5 is on the side of the building and once again on the ground floor. It is ideal for short breaks and an additional child can be accommodated on a sofa bed.We do not accept bookings from goups or parts of groups such as stag or hen parties. If it becoems apparent that a booking has been made by such a group, the booking will be canclled without refund.To secure a booking we take the first night's accommodation charge as a deposit with the balance being payable upon check in. We do not charge for the use of debit cards but do charge an additional 2% for the use of credit cards and 4% for AMEX. Although we are happy to organise late check ins after 8pm a £15 late check in fee will apply.To ensure that we are present when you arrive at the apartments and assist you fully to settle in we would ask that you call us on 01803 294755 to give us your estimated time of arrival.

From the A380 follow the signs for Torquay.As you approach Torquay follow the signs for the harbour.Once you are at the harbourside, look for the roundabout with the Clocktower on it.Turn left here in to Torwood Street.Go straight on and straight over the traffic lights on the hill.This road is nopw Babbacombe Road.After about three hundred yards you will see the Somervillehotel ahead of you.Bedford House is next door to the left.Parking is at the front of the building
